“DU Good” in your community by registering for Denison’s inaugural day of service for alumni, families, and friends.

Designed by Alumni Council, DU Good Day (pronounced “do good” day) encourages Denisonians all over the globe to make a difference in their communities. When you participate in DU Good Day, you will

  1. Help yourself. Serving others feels good and doing so as part of DU Good Day provides a fun, unique opportunity to build bonds with fellow Denisonians.
  2. Help others. Whether you volunteer in a large group, a small group, or even by yourself, the time you spend volunteering will help others and make your community more vibrant.
  3. Continue the Denison legacy of active engagement in society.

While service on DU Good Day (April 30) is encouraged, service completed anytime during the month of April will be credited. We understand that schedules are busy!

Volunteer and serve at an organization of your choosing and share about it on our Facebook event. Some alumni-organized events are listed below. If you don’t see an event in your area, feel free to volunteer on your own or organize a volunteer opportunity for fellow alumni in your area. For help organizing a group event, please contact Alisha Stilwell at Denison. Please note the service activity dates, as not all are scheduled on April 30.

After DU Good Day, you will receive an email asking you to share your service activity & hours served. The class year with the most hours served will be eligible for some exciting recognition at their next reunion! So be sure to self-report your service!

The first 100 registrants will receive a free DU Good Day T-shirt. Don’t delay — sign up to “DU Good” today.
