Senior Class Gift Committee
The Senior Class Gift is a Denison tradition that is in place to raise funds from each graduating class for scholarships and financial aid through the Annual Fund. Committee members coordinate giving from their classmates so that each senior class helps to support the next generation of Denisonians. There are many benefits of serving on your Senior Gift Committee including investing in the value of your degree, helping to make Senior year the most fun year, and to build your communication and fundraising skills. The Committee is formed in the spring of junior year and begins work in September. The commitment runs through Commencement.
The 1831 Society leadership are current underclassmen who work to engage and education their fellow students on the importance of giving as students and alumni. The leadership plan events throughout each year, provide their peers with a vehicle through which to donate, and are the philanthropic face of Denison students. They are also given the desirable chance to have an “inside view” on Denison fundraising.
Denison Club for Students
DCS works with the team in Alumni and Family Engagement to educate students on life after Denison with enjoyable events and programming. They follow the same model as the Denison Club structure that plans events throughout the country for alumni. Denison Club for Students and the 1831 Society work together on many different ventures.
