M.B.A., University of Chicago

CEO, Senior Credit Officer, and Head of Banking for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta
Citi
Athens, Greece

For over three decades, Kyriacou has been a pivotal force within Citi, navigating the complexities of international finance with a philosophy grounded in human connection. Today, as CEO, senior credit officer, and head of banking for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta, he leverages that experience to connect the region’s most significant institutions to the firm’s global network.

A Fulbright scholar, his journey from corporate finance analyst to leading corporate banking across Eastern Europe was shaped by a unique blend of intellectual rigor and genuine curiosity. This mindset was first cultivated through his liberal arts education at Denison, honed with a graduate degree from the University of Chicago, and further refined through executive courses at the London School of Economics and INSEAD.

This commitment to fostering potential extends well beyond his corporate responsibilities. As chairman of Junior Achievement Greece and a board member of the Hellenic Banking Association and the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, he actively champions entrepreneurship and economic development. He remains deeply connected to his alma mater by mentoring the next generation of Denison students and serving as an admissions advocate in Greece.

At the core of his approach is a conviction that a strong values system — built on integrity, humility, and accountability — is the true foundation of lasting success.

Kyriacou lives with his wife and daughter in Athens, Greece.
