Save the Date for Big Red Weekend!

November 1-3, 2024

For the last 10 years, Big Red Weekend has been a celebratory fall weekend on campus for alums and families alike. Now, beginning in 2024, Big Red Weekend will serve as Denison’s Homecoming and focus on bringing alums and students together to celebrate the college in an even bigger way!

Throughout the weekend, alums can expect dedicated events and celebrations related to academics, student life, athletics, the arts, and so much more.

We invite all alums to save the date for November 1-3, 2024, for our inaugural alumni-centric Big Red Weekend!

Who Should Attend?

All alums will enjoy a lively weekend on The Hill with many different ways to celebrate all things Denison, but anyone who identifies as one of the following will find November 1 – 3 to be an especially exciting time to get back to campus.

Young Alumni (members of the classes of 2021-2024)
Our most recent graduates are invited to partake in experiences created just for them, including a dedicated young alumni reception, brunch with your favorite professors, and many additional ways to reconnect with the parts of Denison that made your experience here so unique.

Soccer and Squash Alums
See the Big Red Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams play against rival Ohio Wesleyan University in the new Kienzle-Hylbert stadium and enjoy a spirited tailgate just before. Men’s Squash will also compete against the Naval Academy.

Burpee’s Seedy, Black Alumni Association, Denison Pride, Fraternity and Sorority Alums
These organizations are planning reunions over Big Red Weekend. Expect lots of opportunities to meet with members past and present and find joy in the history you share.

Alums Who Want to Get the Group Together
If you’d like to see your favorite affinity group reunite over Big Red Weekend, there’s still time to make it happen! Simply complete the affinity group interest form and a team member will be in touch.

Honoring Our Alums

10 Under 10 Award
New in 2024, Denison will celebrate 10 deserving young alumni (classes of 2014 – 2024) who demonstrate excellence in their professional field, and outstanding service to their community and to Denison. If you know of a deserving individual for this honor, please complete the nomination form. Recipients of this honor will be celebrated during a ceremony as part of Big Red Weekend. Nominations will be accepted until August 1.

Varsity D Association Hall of Fame
The Varsity D Association celebrates the lasting achievements of some of our greatest student-athletes during Big Red Weekend each year.
