Dear Alumni, Families, Faculty, Staff, and Friends,
As you may have heard, Denison will be open this fall and welcome students back to campus for residential living and learning with classes beginning August 17th. While we look forward to the arrival of students back on campus, this will not be a normal semester. The campus will be operating under a modified academic calendar and with a comprehensive health strategy to minimize and manage the risk of COVID-19 for our students, faculty, staff, and community. Many of the staff and faculty will continue to work remotely to help us manage campus density.
Due to restrictions by the Ohio Department of Health on large group gatherings, along with our own commitment to the health and safety of our community, we have to limit the number of people, including visitors, we have on campus this fall. Therefore, large event gatherings, including Big Red Weekend, have been canceled for the fall.
With that being said, we remain committed to bringing the Denison community together as we can, and we are working on ways to connect both in person and virtually this fall. More details about visiting campus can be found here.
Thanks for your understanding and patience,
Your friends in Alumni & Family Engagement
