Robert Taylor, born in China to missionary W. Robert Taylor ’09, is the assistant director of research of the Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corporation. He was head of the Fiberglas Physics Department at Newark, Ohio, before succeeding to his present position. In 1946 he was chosen one of 21 United States scientists to make a survey of the industrial and research facilities in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. He was an organizer of and is vice president of the TAKK Corporation in Newark. He is a trustee of the Denison Research Foundation, and a member of several national scientific societies.
