Donald Weaver currently is editor of the Columbus Citizen, having previously served as editor of the Granville Times, the Kentucky Post, and the Fort Worth Press. While working for these papers, Don editorialized and campaigned successfully for constructive legislation. In Texas, he headed chamber of commerce activities which promoted better relations with Latin Americans. With the Citizen, he has steadfastly publicized those phases of community life which need improvement, such as public recreation, transportation, traffic problems, smoke abatement, public health, and hospital improvement. He serves as a director of the Red Cross and the Columbus Philharmonic.
