Nick Rogers graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Denison in 1962 and cum laude from the Ohio State University’s College of Medicine.
His career began with an internship at the University of Rochester and a residency in dermatology at Duke. In 1973, he was appointed to the staff of the Mayo Clinic as a consultant in dermatology and to the faculty of the Mayo Medical School as an instructor in dermatology; he subsequently achieved the rank of professor of dermatology and associate dean for academic affairs at the Mayo Clinic, and currently is professor of dermatology and dean of the School of Health Related Sciences, Mayo Medical School.
He has received numerous awards during his career including “Teacher of the year” twice at the Mayo Medical School and the Alumni Achievement Award from the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Nick has authored numerous professional publications and has been a member of various professional organizations.
He contributed to his community by serving on the Rochester, Minn. School Board, the YMCA, and the First Presbyterian Church.
Nick has been a Denison career advisor since 1978.
