Leland Cross Jr., a successful attorney, was twice elected to serve as chairman of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He specializes in representing management in matters relating to labor relations law and has written a number of books and pamphlets on all phases of labor relations problems. He has lectured, taught courses, and presented seminars at Purdue University and the University of Notre Dame and the law schools of the University of Chicago, University of Illinois, Indiana University, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, and Yale University. Lee has served as special counsel to various legislative committees and been a witness on behalf of employer interests in subcommittees of the U.S. Congress.
Lee was an original member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s “Blue Ribbon” committee for labor law reform. He is currently listed in Who’s Who in American Law and The Best Lawyers in America, among other publications.
In January, 1991, Lee was awarded the 1991 Indiana Volunteer of the Year Award. The following October, he was the awarded the “Order of the Sagamore of the Wabash” by the Governor of Indiana for “outstanding leadership contributions to the Office of the Governor and citizens of Indiana.”
Lee has served as a reunion officer for his class, been co-president of the Indianapolis Alumni Club, and has been an Annual Fund worker for Denison.
