A Denison room comes full circle

When Michele Walton Hoehn ’89 was a junior at Denison, she lived in Crawford Hall. Decades later, her daughter, Kate ’29, received her first-year room assignment. The location?

Crawford Hall, same room.

“I messaged my friend who lived across the hall at the time, and she pulled out old photos of us,” Michele said. “Oh my gosh. It’s the same room!”

The Denisonians reunited during Family Weekend for a tour. Michele pointed to the space where a couch once sat and noted that the vanity looked the same. Kate’s bed was even on the same side of the room where Michele once slept.
