President of Chicago’s Leo Burnett Company, the sixth largest advertising agency in the country with billings of $135,000,000 a year, he started his career as an account executive for the H.W. Kaston Advertising Agency following graduation, became advertising manager for Derby Foods and General Manager for Reddi Whip while also teaching at Northwestern University’s School of Commerce. Joining Leo Burnett in 1951, he rose in 10 years to be its head. Today his firm handles the advertising for such accounts as Campbell Soup, Proctor & Gamble, Kellogg, and Chrysler Corporation.

As one of this nation’s leaders in the art of making the distribution of good more economical to the producer and thus making possible lower prices for the consumer, he has added to the distinction of Denison University.
