Edward Stockdale is a prime example of a man who has risen from the bottom to the top of the ladder during his career in the specialty-steel business. His activities have been in the manufacturing, selling, and executive departments. During World War I he was instrumental in developing many special steels for use by the United States government. He is a director of the Union National Bank of Pittsburgh and of the Duncan and Miller Glass Company in Washington, Pa.
