Following his graduation Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Denison, David Daberko attended Case Western Reserve University, earning his M.B.A. in 1970.
Dave then went to work the National City Bank in Cleveland and has risen through the ranks, including stint in Columbus as President of BankOhio National Bank. He returned to Cleveland as president and chief executive officer of the bank in 1989, and today serves as chairman and chief executive officer.
Dave has been active in the civic life of Cleveland serving as a trustee of the Cleveland Foundation, and a director of the Great Lakes Shakespeare festival, the Greater Cleveland Round Table, and the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Hospital.
The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges elected Dave to membership on their board in 1991. In 1988, he was inducted into the Hall of Excellence for outstanding achievement and leadership.
Dave has served Denison as a career advisor.
