Before founding the firm in 1980, Miner had a distinguished career with Proctor & Gamble.

A Denison trustee from 1976 to 1982, he is widely recognized for his creative energy. He was the head of the Sesquicentennial’s public relations committee, and in that role was largely responsible for designing the campaign brochure which was a significant tool in the capital fund drive.
