Bradley E. Turner is the Chief Operating Officer at Hartland, an independent institutional and private wealth advisor headquartered in Cleveland. Brad joined Hartland in 2011 following its merger with Chess Financial Corporation, a Cleveland-based multi-family office.
Brad joined Chess as Chief Investment Officer in 2006 and was named President in 2011. Prior to Chess, Brad spent several years with Fidelity Investments in Boston and more than 20 years with McDonald Investments and KeyCorp in a variety of management roles in Cleveland and Cincinnati.
Over the years, Brad has provided market analysis and investment advice to clients and audiences throughout the United States. His commentary has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and several books such as Stockpicking by Richard Maturi. Brad has appeared as a guest on CNBC and Wall $treet Week with Louis Rukeyser.
Brad earned his MBA from The College of William & Mary’s Mason School of Business. He is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School, Leadership Cincinnati, and Leadership Ohio.
Brad’s personal interests revolve around the environment, food security, and education. He currently serves on the boards of the Holden Arboretum and the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland. His involvement with Denison has included fundraising, student engagement, and serving on the Alumni Council, including one term as its president.
