William Bawden is the director of publications at the Kansas State Teachers College in Pittsburg, Kan., and former head of the College’s department of industrial education. In the latter field he was a pioneer and a government specialist. A prolific writer and an indefatigable worker, his work in educational surveys and research, as well as in the organization and conduct of conferences of teachers and administrators, has been of great national service.
