E. Clark Morrow has served Denison, his profession, and his community in many ways during his rich and productive career.

After graduating from Denison and Case Western Reserve University Law School, he began the practice of law in Newark, Ohio, where he is now senior partner in the firm of Morrow, Gordon & Byrd. An active member of various bar associations, he served as president of the Licking County Bar Association and on committees of the Ohio Bar Association, including chairing the Committee on Legal Ethics and Professional Conduct. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, the Ohio State Bar Foundation, and the American College of Probate Counsel.

For a period of 34 years, Clark served as visiting professor of government at Denison, teaching courses in constitutional law, jurisprudence, and business law as well as acting as a pre-Law advisor. He has served as Denison’s counsel for over 40 years, has been active in the alumni organization, and assumed major responsibilities during the Capital Campaign.

He has been an active member of the First Baptist Church of Granville and has participated in the National Councils of the Church, and in many other civic organizations.

Both Clark and his wife Irma, class of 1931, have devoted their time and talents to the service of Denison for 60 years.
