Elizabeth “Libby” Osmond Moshier is the co-chair of the 50th reunion class of 1939. She has served her college throughout her lifetime by working on various fundraising campaigns, by serving on the Alumni Council and as president of the Cleveland Women’s Club, and by co-chairing the 20th, 30th, 40th, and 45th reunions of her class.

In addition to her Denison service, Libby has given her time and talents generously to her community in many positions. She has served as an officer on the Lyndhurst YWCA Board, president of the elementary school P.T.A., and vice president of the women’s board of the Cleveland Health and Education Museum. In 1985, she was made an honorary emeritus member of the same board. In 1986, was named secretary of the women’s board of the Highland Park Club in Lake Wales, Florida, and from 1950 to 1988, served as president, secretary, treasurer, and program chairman of the Green Thumb Garden Club.

For 15 years she was co-chairman for the Greater Cleveland Garden Center White Elephant Sale, which is “The Largest Garage Sale in the World” according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
Libby has always been active in church organizations.

Libby is married Malcom Moshier, class of 1938, who has also received a citation from Denison, and their son is a graduate of the class of 1974.
