Ira Price II’s impressive rise to eminence in the law profession has won him the highest professional and personal respect of his associates.

Mr. Price is a partner in the law firm of Latham and Watkins in Los Angeles, where he is a specialist in the field of civil litigation. He has risen through numerous committee assignments and officerships to president-elect of the 6,000-member Los Angeles County Bar Association, the fourth largest local bar association in the United States. He has also served the State Bar of California, largest integrated bar association in the United States, as chairman and adviser of the Committee on Administration of Justice and on various other committees. The Chancery Club of Los Angeles, composed of a highly-selected group of judges and lawyers and dedicated to service to the bench and attainment of highest professional standards affecting administration of justice, named him their president last year. A lecturer in law for six years at the University of Southern California Law School, he has also done a considerable amount of original research on new developments in law and published numerous articles in legal publications. His civic work has included the directorship of the California Republican League, assistant scout master, PTA vice president, officer of the Santa Anita Village Association, and leader in school bond drives and other community activities. Former trustee of his church, he has also served education as president and area fund chairman of the Denison Club of Southern California.
