Through his leadership, inspiration, and counsel, provided without stint to medical, civic and educational groups, Dr. John Osmond Jr. has distinguished himself as a radiologist.

Currently serving in private practice with Drs. Hill and Thomas of Cleveland, Dr. Osmond is also director of radiology and assistant chief of staff at Euclid-Glenville Hospital. Author of a number of medical papers, he has been named president of the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland, member of the Workman’s Compensation Committee of the Ohio State Medical Association, trustee of the Cleveland Medical Library Association, treasurer of the Eastern Radiological Society, assistant clinical professor in radiology at Western Reserve School of Medicine, president of the Cleveland Health Museum, medical advisory committee member for the Blue Cross of North East Ohio, and a member of numerous other medical associations.

He has also served his church and various civic organizations, such as the Boy Scouts as a member of the Executive Board of the Greater Cleveland Council, trustee of the Cleveland Welfare Federation, captain for United Appeal, and member of the Advisory Committee of Shaker Heights Board of Education. His work for Denison and the Alumni Society has also been extensive, including service as club president and area fund chairman and president of the Denison Dad’s Association.
