Big Red Field Hockey Alumnae & Family Weekend

Denison University and the Big Red field hockey program invite you back to campus on Sept. 22-23 for a weekend of celebration and engagement.

This event is a great opportunity to reconnect with your teammates and head coach P.J. Soteriades, meet current team members and other field hockey alumnae and families, and, of course, watch the Big Red field hockey team in action. Don’t wait! Register today.

Friday, Sept. 22

4 p.m. – Open practice with the team.

Stop by Piper Stadium and check out the 2023 edition of the Denison field hockey squad as it prepares for Saturday’s conference clash with Kenyon.

7 p.m. – Informal gathering in Granville Village.

End the day with teammates and friends in Granville, starting at the new and fun Seek-No-Further Cidery.

Saturday, Sept. 23

10 a.m. – Alumnae and parent tailgate on the outdoor basketball courts near the entrance to Piper Stadium.

Join fellow alums and parents of current players for a tailgate. Snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided. (Other beverages are BYO.)

11 a.m. – Big Red field hockey vs. Kenyon in Piper Stadium.

Wear your best Denison colors and cheer on the team. All field hockey alums in attendance will be recognized at halftime!

12:30 p.m. – Alumnae and parent postgame banquet on the outdoor basketball courts outside the stadium.

Join fellow field hockey alums, parents, and current players for an outdoor postgame banquet. Meal and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. (Rain site is Lamson Lodge.)
