The Vail Series is partnering with the Music Institute of Chicago to bring you a livestreamed performance with one of Denison’s ensembles-in-residence, Grammy® Award-winning Third Coast Percussion.

For 15 years, this Chicago-based percussion quartet has created exciting and unexpected performances that constantly redefine the classical music experience. Third Coast Percussion maintains a busy tour schedule, with past performances in 35 of the 50 states and Washington, D.C., plus international tour dates in Canada, Colombia, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

This partnership with the Music Institute of Chicago is part of the “Live from Nichols Concert Hall” series, presenting free chamber music livestreamed events from historic Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston, Ill.

The program features works by composers Clarice Assad, Devonté Hynes, Gemma Peacocke, and Jlin.

This performance is supported by the Arts Midwest Touring Fund, a program of Arts Midwest that is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional contributions from the Ohio Arts Council and the Crane Group.

The concert is free and open to the public. Just click or tap and watch online at the Music Institute of Chicago.
